Corrine plans to CODA into the Biological and Agricultural Engineering department with a major in Biological Engineering and a concentration in ecology. She is from Merrick, New York, which is located on Long Island, but her and her family moved to Hampstead, North Carolina in July 2017.

She was more than excited to develop a portable textile bucket clean drinking water. Corrine's high school only started to offer an engineering class in her sophomore year, and Corrine was already enrolled in the Advanced Science Research (ASR) Program. Needless to say she was eager to start this new adventure and learn more about the engineering design process.

Additionally, the fabric bucket is something that can benefit people who need to walk miles and transport clean drinking water all around the world. Corrine hopes to develop a more worldly view, which she also hopes to achieve through Alternative Service Breaks (ASB), studying abroad, and Engineers Without Borders (EWB). Engineering is a great path for someone who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of others, and this project is a perfect example of that sentiment.
